5 days Desert tour from Fes and back to Fes

Overview:

On this best 5 days Morocco Desert tour from Fes, you’ll see several fabulous places and spend a magical night in the Sahara Desert ( you can choose between a standard camp and a luxury camp).

Tour itinerary:

Day 1: FES – IFRANE- MIDELT – TODRA GORGES:

On the first day of our 5 days desert tour, we head to Todra Gorges and pass through the Ifrane and Cedar forests of Azrou where wild Monkeys are. You will have lunch in the Berber village of Zaida or around. We continue the way through the Atlas Mountains – enjoying the landscapes of Midelt. We will pass through the famous town of Imilchil before arriving at Todra Gorges in the evening where you stay overnight.

Day 2: TODRA GORGES – ERFOUD – RISSANI – MERZOUGA:

After breakfast, will discover Todra Gorges and then we drive to Merzouga pass Erfoud and Rissani. Will stay in Desert Hotel and we will have a free program to discover the Desert area on your own.

Day 3: EXPLORE SAHARA – DESERT CAMP:

On this day, you will have a circuit excursion around the Desert by 4×4. We will visit oases, Nomad families, and also Khamlia village (famous for its music). In the evening, you will have a Camel trek across the dunes to the Desert camp where you stay overnight in comfortable tents. You will watch an amazing sunset in the Desert.

Day 4: ERG CHEBBI – RISSANI – ZIZ VALLEY – MIDELT:

After an early sunrise, you will ride the Camels back to Merzouga, and after having a shower and breakfast, we’ll continue our tour to Midelt. Before that visit souk in Rissani and also a fossils shop and factory in Erfoud, we travel via the Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas mountains. In Midelt, spend a night in a local hotel.

Day 5: MIDELT – AZROU – FEZ:

Will leave Midelt after breakfast and drive through the Cedar forests of Azrou and stop to hand-feed the Monkeys. Then continue to Ifrane, the ‘Switzerland of Morocco’ to arrive early evening to Fes. The tour will finish in Fes.
